Gill Physick- Locality Manager Of All The Coastal Area Children’s Centres
As the locality Manager of Ashington, Newbiggin by the Sea, Lynemouth, Coquet and Amble Sure Start Children's Centres it is my duty to oversee that the services deliver high quality Children's Centre services for the community in which they are based.

Mig Freeman- Deputy Programme Manager
Mig is Deputy Manager at Ashington Children's Centre, and coordinates all of the Community Family Support Workers at Ashington and liaises with the other centres providing a uniformed service.

David Forster- Community Development & Learning Co-ordinator
My role is a variable one. I have responsibility for planning and developing programmes and services for parents and carers with children under 5. This includes:
  • community events
  • courses in parenting and child development
  • creative workshops
  • family learning
  • training opportunities
  • co-ordination of sessions offered by our team around midwifery, speech & language, dietetics and nutrition, bookstart, parental involvement, community development and family support.
  • recruitment and support of volunteers
  • development of strong partnerships with individuals organisation in the local community in order to help enhance and maximise the opportunites available to families

Mark Blyth- Fathers Worker
Working with young fathers aged 16-25 throughout Northumberland. Supporting and encouraging them to engage in education, training and employment. Creating and developing father friendly workshops and activities within the children's centres. Working in partnership alongside local and regional agencies to obtain a healthier and more efficient service for fathers within Northumberland.
